Hello! I’m Senthil.

I help product teams build design systems, ship accessible interfaces, and close the gap between design and code - I build the design infrastructure that product teams rely on - the systems, standards, and patterns that make great user experiences repeatable at scale.

Over a 20+year career spanning fintech, insurance, healthcare, and enterprise SaaS, I have worked as Lead UX Architect at Citi Group, Design System Lead at Computershare, and Senior Consulting Manager at Virtusa — leading the UX function on some of the most complex digital products in regulated industries.

What I specialise in:

  • Design system leadership and governance — from token architecture to developer handoff and team adoption
  • Accessibility consulting — WCAG 2.1 AA/AAA audits, remediation planning, and colour system redesign for inclusive data visualisation
  • Enterprise UX strategy — design thinking workshops, stakeholder alignment, user research, and information architecture for complex multi-stakeholder products
  • Design-to-code workflows — Figma + Token Studio + Storybook + CI/CD integration that actually works in production
  • End-to-end UX leadership: discovery workshops, user research, journey mapping, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and developer handoff documentation — all in one engagement.
  • Cross-functional collaboration across design, engineering, product, and leadership — including remote teams distributed across multiple time zones.
  • Mentoring and upskilling of in-house design teams so the quality improvement is permanent, not contractor-dependent.

AI, Vibe Coding & Emerging Design Workflows:

I actively work with AI-assisted UX and vibe coding workflows to accelerate product thinking, prototyping, and design system delivery. Over the past few years, I’ve integrated tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Figma Make, UX Pilot, and Stitch into enterprise design processes across financial services, healthcare, and retail products.

My work combines traditional UX strategy with prompt-driven design approaches — helping teams move from idea to prototype faster while maintaining accessibility, scalability, and governance standards.

I’m particularly passionate about:

  • AI-assisted UX workflows
  • Design systems + design-to-code pipelines
  • Prompt-driven prototyping
  • Human + AI collaboration models
  • Rapid concept validation
  • Vibe coding for scalable product experiences
I enjoy exploring how AI can reduce friction in product delivery while still keeping human-centered thinking at the core of the experience.

I also enjoy capturing photographs of animals and nature. Below are some of the shots I’ve taken over the years that I personally like the most.

Senthil is part of this elite group, the best in designing user-friendly solutions, with a high adoption rate; at the same time keeping avenues open for discussions with development teams understanding their challenges and coming up with alternate designs, without compromising on the final outcome. A very approachable, sensible guy always maintaining his calm demeanor."
